- Turkish authorities detained four pilots on Thursday on suspicion of aiding ex-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn in his escape from Japan.
- Ghosn was reportedly smuggled out of Japan by private plane to Istanbul on Sunday night, whereupon he took a second plane to Beirut, arriving on Monday.
- Two airport ground workers, and one cargo worker were detained alongside the pilots, a Turkish police spokeswoman told Reuters.

Turkey detained four airline pilots on Thursday on suspicion of helping former Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn flee Japan via Istanbul in secret.
Ghosn was smuggled out of Japan by a private security company at 11 p.m. local time on Sunday, according to Reuters, leaving Kansai for Lebanon in a private jet which took him to Ataturk Airport in Istanbul.See the rest of the story at Business Insider
