
One of the first live-TV streaming services is also the first to throw in the towel.
Sony is giving up on the live-TV streaming wars, announcing that it will shut down PlayStation Vue on January 30, 2020. The company says it’s decided to stay focused on its core gaming business as content and network deals become more expensive. Vue will stop accepting sign-ups soon, and Sony won’t charge existing customers after December.
